Role Purpose<\/strong><\/td>\nThe Project Risk Controller is responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks throughout the lifecycle of the project. This role ensures that risks are proactively identified and managed to support the project’s objectives in terms of scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety, and compliance. The Risk Controller works collaboratively with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, as well as end users, to develop and maintain a robust risk management framework tailored to the complexities of the project.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Conduct risk identification workshops with project stakeholders and subject matter experts.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Risk Assessment & Analysis<\/strong><\/td>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain and update the project risk register, including qualitative and quantitative analysis.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Perform risk assessments using tools such as Monte Carlo simulations, sensitivity analysis, and decision trees.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Analyze the impact of risks on project scope, cost, schedule, and performance.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>\u00a0Mitigation, Monitoring & Reporting<\/strong><\/td>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Monitor project progress and update the risk register to reflect emerging or resolved risks.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Work with the Project Manager and discipline leads to define and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Prepare and present risk status reports, trends, and mitigation effectiveness to senior management.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure mitigation actions are tracked, implemented, and validated.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>\u00a0Coordination & Support<\/strong><\/td>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Coordinate with the Project Planner and Cost Controller to integrate risk analysis into planning, cost estimation, and schedule forecasting.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Support contract and procurement teams with risk-related input for vendor selection and claims analysis.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Provide training and support to project teams on risk management tools and processes.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Knowledge \/ Skills<\/strong><\/td>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Proficiency in risk tools: Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, Oracle Crystal Ball, ARM.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project, and EDMS systems.<\/p>\n

Experience<\/strong><\/td>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum 5 years of experience in project risk management for large-scale industrial, oil & gas, power, or infrastructure projects.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Experience with large-scale plant construction preferred.<\/p>\n
