Role Purpose | A candidate is required for the position of Senior Accountant. The candidate shall be responsible for the handling and overseeing the financial requirements and management reporting of the group and support the executive management team by offering insights and financial analysis that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company. | ||
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES | |||

1. Recording transactions | · Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
· Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. |

2. Accounts Receivable | · Reporting collections from customers on weekly basis along with customer aging analysis.
· Generating and Forwarding SOA to customer on monthly basis through sales team for the confirmation of balances and reconciliation to resolving the discrepancies. |
||
3. Payables Management | · Precisely maintaining of all payments and its reporting on weekly basis.
· Generating and Forwarding SOA to vendors on monthly basis for the confirmation of balances and reconciliation to resolving the discrepancies. |
||
4. Treasury | · Responsible for working capital management reporting to higher management for timely decision making.
· Monthly bank reconciliation statements to be maintained and reported to the management. · Responsible for all collection and payments, maintaining accounting records and posting, matching, clearing and assisting management in day to day tasks. |
||
5. Management and Financial Reporting | · Prepare monthly management report by following all agreed structure of financial statements and other necessary financial performance reports.
· Reconciling statements and reporting to the management regarding any discrepancy highlighted. |
||
6. Team management | · Coaching and appraising performance of the team.
· Providing guidelines to the team members for entering accurate records into company’s ERP. · Addressing complaints and resolving problems. |
||
7. Taxation | · Preparing and reviewing Tax returns as per the local laws of Saudi Arabia.
· Monitor tax liabilities and ensures the payment of the same on timely basis. · Responding to the queries of the different government bodies in case any assistance needed. |
||
8. General | · Assisting management in planning, assigning, and directing work to the staff.
· Assisting in the audit being conducted by the external and internal auditors. Resolving their queries and facilitating the management in this regard. · Responsible for preparation and record keeping of relevant vouchers. · Maintaining proper records of supporting documentation with regards to sales/ purchase invoices, debit and credit notes, receipts and payments etc. |

JOB SPECIFICATIONS | |||
Knowledge / Skills | · Proficiency in Microsoft Office with demonstrated abilities in Excel.
· Having an analytical mind and a keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data. · The ability to develop strong working relationships and maintaining the work ethics. · Expert level experience in multitasking with ability to set priorities as per given situation. · Ability to stick to time constraints. · ERP hands on experience is a must. · Fluent in English and Arabic (is a plus). |

Certifications |
· Chartered Accountant finalist or Similar professional body qualified with Articles completed from a renowned firm. | ||
Experience | · Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and finance.
