Job Title VP – Corporate Finance & Deal Advisory

Role Purpose Accountable and responsible for all the tasks and assignments delegated under the ambit of “Corporate Finance & Deal Advisory” practice at Insights.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Key Accountabilities Key Activities
1.       Deal Advisory ·       Lead deal advisory mandates spanning M&A, capital raising, and private equity transactions both on the buy & sell-side, overseeing the entire process from initial pitch to successful deal closing.

·       Proactively identify and pursue new deal opportunities through networking, market analysis, and targeted outreach efforts.

·       Build and maintain a robust deal pipeline, leveraging industry relationships and market insights to source high-quality transactions aligned with client objectives.

2.       Client Relationship Management ·       Cultivate and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in their business endeavors.

·       Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, addressing concerns promptly and effectively to uphold the firm’s reputation for excellence and client satisfaction

3.       Strategic Analysis & Reporting ·       Develop confidential information memoranda, teaser, pitch deck, business plans and other marketing materials for the transaction.

·       Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate potential investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

4.       Financial Modelling ·       Review and maintain complex financial models to support performance analysis, forecasting, and decision-making processes.

·       Provide insights and recommendations based on financial modeling outcomes.

5.       Transaction Structuring & Negotiation ·       Collaborate with legal advisors to develop optimal deal structures and negotiate favorable terms and conditions on behalf of clients.

·       Analyze and evaluate alternative transaction structures, considering tax implications, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies to maximize value and minimize potential liabilities.

6.       Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights ·       Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities through ongoing research and analysis.

·       Provide strategic insights and recommendations derived from comprehensive market research to guide client strategies and initiatives effectively.

7.       Leadership & Mentorship ·       Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and professional development.

·       Act as a subject matter expert, offering insights and thought leadership within the organization and broader industry forums.

 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Experience / Skills ·      At least 10 years of relevant experience (leading deal advisory projects) including in an Investment Bank, Brokerage House, Transaction Advisory Firm, Investment Fund or Investment team of a Corporate

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated Financial Modeling abilities in Excel is a must.

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid research and analytical skills and ability to work well both autonomously and in a team.

·      Expert level experience in multitasking with ability to set priorities as per given situation.

·      Fluent in English, and Arabic (is a plus).

Education /

Certifications

·     Advanced professional degree/certification (CA, CFA, CPA, ACCA) is mandatory.

·     Bachelor’s/master’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
