Job Title Senior Manager – Board Secretarial Projects & Quality Assurance

Role Purpose Insights is on the look for a competent resource to fill this position with one of its prestigious clients in financial sector. In alignment with the transformation of the Company Secretary function into a broader Governance & Corporate Affairs unit, this role is vital for enhancing governance structures, driving transformation initiatives, and strengthening quality assurance across Board and Management Committees. The Senior Manager will lead strategic secretarial projects, ensure high-quality submissions, and embed best practices through collaboration and capability building.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Key Accountabilities Key Activities
1.     Governance & Secretarial Project Leadership •             Lead strategic transformation projects across Governance & Corporate Affairs.

•             Oversee the enhancement of Board and Management Committee platforms and tools.

•             Drive the implementation of upgraded meeting pack templates, minutes formats, and action tracking mechanisms.

•             Support the consolidation of Board and Board Committee submissions via key management committees.

2.     Quality Assurance & Process Enhancement •           Establish and drive a Quality Assurance framework across governance deliverables.

•           Standardize and innovate meeting pack development processes.

•           Ensure timely and high-quality submissions to the Board and Committees.

•           Upskill the stakeholders on governance practices.

3.     Committee Management & Operational Governance •           Support secretarial oversight of restructured and expanded Committees, including new mandates and merged committees.

•           Collaborate cross-functionally for effective committee management.

•           Ensure improved coordination, reduce duplication, and enhance governance across functions.

4.     Governance Tools & Information Architecture •           Implement centralized governance tools including standardized templates, DOA matrices, and knowledge platforms.

•           Promote the adoption of international best practices (i.e., modern frameworks) in governance documentation and workflows.

5.     Subsidiaries & Projects Governance •           Assist in governance and oversight of subsidiaries and affiliates.

•           Contribute to revising and implementing the Capex Governance & Project Management Framework throughout.

•           Collaborate cross-functionally for new Capex processes.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge / Skills •           Exposure to financial institutions, financial services, or regulated environments preferred.

•           Familiarity with digital governance tools and meeting management platforms is a plus.

Education /

Certifications

•            A degree in Law, Business Administration, Governance, or related field.
Experience •           8 – 12 years of experience in corporate governance, board secretarial roles, or related functions.
