OVERVIEW
Job Title External Communication Consultant
Organization PMO Location Saudi Arabia
Role Purpose The External Communication will be responsible for ensuring consistent, accurate, and impactful communication of the HT/FL Project’s progress, performance, and key milestones to internal and external stakeholders, including EXCOM, Board of Directors, and strategic partners. The role serves as the central point for developing high-quality executive reports, management dashboards, and communication materials that align with corporate standards and governance expectations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Key Accountabilities Key Activities
1.    Executive Reporting & Presentation Development •            Develop and maintain comprehensive project reporting packages for EXCOM and Board meetings, highlighting key performance indicators, milestones, risks, and achievements.

•            Translate complex technical and financial data into clear, visually engaging executive summaries and presentations.

•            Prepare communication briefs, progress summaries, and milestone reports for external partners, investors, and regulatory entities as required.

•            Support the preparation of project updates for inclusion in corporate communication or investor relations materials, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

2.     Data Coordination & Consolidation •           Coordinate with the PMO, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance teams to consolidate and validate project data.

•           Ensure data integrity and alignment with project KPIs and corporate reporting standards.

3.    MIS Framework & Governance Alignment •           Design and manage the project MIS framework ensuring accurate, timely, and automated data flow for decision-making.

•           Implement structured templates for progress tracking, resource utilization, and cost monitoring aligned with project governance.

4.    Dashboarding & Visualization •           Develop interactive dashboards to visualize project status, risk metrics, and forecasted performance using digital tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Excel-based systems).
5.     Standards Alignment & Quality Assurance •           Ensure data integrity and alignment with project KPIs and corporate reporting standards.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge / Skills •           Advanced Power BI / Tableau / Excel (Power Query / VBA).

•           Excellent presentation and data storytelling skills.

•           Strong analytical and visualization abilities.

•           Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

•           Ability to synthesize large volumes of data into concise executive insights.

•           High attention to detail, accuracy, and aesthetics in report design.

Education /

Certifications

•           Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.

•           MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience •           Proven experience (Minimum 8–10 years) in executive communication, project reporting, or MIS roles.

•           Strong analytical and presentation skills, with proficiency in dashboarding and visualization tools.

•           Excellent written communication and stakeholder management capabilities at senior executive and board levels.
